Priceless...

Having the biggest Glove in the league = $49.95
Best fielding record on the team = a lot of Practice
Scoring nightly with my biggest fan = even more Practice
Finding your original rookie basebal card = Priceless!

Yes folks, that's how I feel about my relationship with the Summer GM these days...and how could anyone feel differenlty. Just when I thought that our working relationship and friendship would end with this 2007 season (remember my offers) the Summer GM TOTALLY redeemed himself (in my eyes) and made this spectacular find on the internet!

I'd like to give a HUGE thank you to the Summer GM for not just finding this incredible card, but for sharing it with my fan's.

I truly love you all and I hope that you all enjoy this little piece of history.

By the way, Casual Guy 'in the Hot Corner', if it will help you get some action I'll gladly sign this card for you, just let me know who I should acknowledge!

Finally, someone other than Hugh Glove...

...That's right, someone other than Hugh Glove had to pull out a win for the Elkhorn last night!!! It was a beautiful hit by the Elkhorn GM that brings the 'Horn closer to a record winning season in any sport! Some folks in the gallery were whispering that the Elkhorn GM would fan on the 'at bat' just so the Summer GM didn't end up as the winningest coach in Elkhorn history, but in true Elkhorn fashion the Elkhorn GM hit one for the team.

Yours truly on the other hand sat by leisurely (see picture above) until he was really needed and ended up making the most amazing game winning "sun in your eyes" diving catch...only to have the Summer GM "lose it" on the sidelines and blaming "yours truly" for being out of position. All I (Hugh Glove) could do to contain myself whilst the Summer GM was embarassing me in front of my team mates and all of my fans was to internally thinkWWMD. It's clear that my mentor Magnum would have been the perfect gentlemen in this situation and I followed my mentors words of wisdom to a "T"!

So with the score tied and international rules (thank god the Summer GM new the rules) set for the 8th inning and Rob "the short stop" at 2nd base, Elkhorn GM knocked a sac' fly to the outfield somewhere around 275ft and Rob the "short stop and 4th in the batting order" leisurely trotted home!

With 2 games left in the regular season, yours truly will be doing more rest and relaxation at West Hawk...see picture above..."I need to really rest the bones and prepare for the playoffs" is how I put it to the Summer GM, whether he liked it or not! Now that's dedication...not like all those "school teachers" we have on our team with big fat contracts and then take off every other game because they're on vacation crap! I'm talking real dedication (again see picture above)!!!

News Flash: WWMD tshirts available online for $20.00ea, buy one for yourself, get the second shirt for your gal/guy for $19.00. Don't miss out on a chance of life time.

The Real Deal

It truly is a new day

It is hard to beleive, but the Summer GM of the Elkhorn Baseball Blog has forced Hugh Glove to go his own way and create a blog for his fans, family, and friends. "This truly isn't the way I wanted to go" a perplexed Hugh Glove said when asked earlier this week. "I just can't get my head around a few points the Summer GM has made this year, first I get moved from the #4 hitting postion (I guess only getting out once up to that point was the reason) and then I lose the short stop position to a better looking younger guy!" That was all Hugh could take, but to top it off the Summer GM wouldn't allow Hugh to post any pictures on the site and eventually led to this new Blog.

Hugh says this is just a start up and if he can see that folks want the site, then he'll continue to update you on his comings and goings. Until then, enjoy and don't forget to visit the Elkhorn Blog every now and then.
